‘Ik wil De Baas Spreken!’

"Steeds minder ceo 's zijn in staat hun vertrek in eigen hand te houden, zo blijkt uit een internationaal onderzoek. De golf van gedwongen ontslagen onder topmensen blijft wereldwijd op een hoog niveau." zo meldde Het FD gisteren in haar openings artikel. De manager die maar kort op zijn stoel blijft, zo gezegd. Hoe is dat nu mogelijk, de organisatie managen als je er toch maar zo kort bent? Grappig, toch?

Wellicht is het dan ook tijd om eens te kijken wat voor quotes er over de 'manager' zo al te vinden zijn op het Web. Hier is er al vast 1:

Het internationaal onderzoek dat Het FD aanhaalt is, waarschijnlijk, het onderzoek dat Coyne & Coyne uitvoerden en dat deze maand, hoe kan het ook anders (....), in de HBR wordt besproken. Enkele dagen terug besteedde ik een entry aan hun 'survivalkit'. Coyne & Coyne melden in hun artikel dat 50% van de grootste Amerikaanse ondernemingen een nieuwe CEO zullen hebben in de komende 4 jaren, dus nog voor 2011! Er is in de VS dus sprake van een high turnover in CEO's!

Als je beroep van CEO, van manager, zo in the picture staat, dan roept dat reacties op. Zulke reacties vind je op het Web o.m. in quotes. Dan blijkt ook dat het cynisme dat over de manager wordt uitgestrooid niet iets is van de laatste tijd, nee hoor dat gebeurt al veel langer. Zelfs Desiderius Erasmus deed er al aan mee.....
